Curriculum
The curriculum department is committed to “meeting student needs through cooperative efforts” by assisting eight school districts in several areas. The supervisors work with K-12 administrators and teachers to provide leadership, planning and support in facilitating, improving, and promoting student achievement in all curricular areas. Specialized help is provided with curriculum development, alignment and implementation, evaluations of textbooks/programs and instructional materials, assessment development, intervention strategies, Entry Year Teacher program, and technical assistance related to the Ohio Improvement Process, the Race to the Top Initiative and Value Added data. Our supervisors also serve as liaisons between several community organizations and the school districts.
Please contact us with any questions.
We will be happy to help with your curriculum and professional development needs.
We've been working to create a more comprehensive and accessible resource guide to help county staff connect youth and families with services in Hancock County.
Below are three files related to this new resource:
The Hancock County CSTAG Resource explains the methodology and framework used to create the guide.
The Hancock Resource Guide is the full PDF version of the guide, which you can share as a quick reference.
The Resource Guide App contains a link to an interactive app version of the guide. This is a user-friendly tool for staff to use on their computers or phones.
