Community, learning, and... baby goats? Yes, please! 🐐🌾 Yesterday was an extra special day for our Riverdale classrooms. Our students got to get up close and personal with a baby goat, learning about animals while making some unforgettable memories on the playground. We love seeing our students' faces light up like this. Thank you to our amazing staff and community members for bringing this joy to our classrooms!

Mrs. Tyson’s class got their hands dirty yesterday planting their very own vegetable garden! 🪴 Before digging in, our gardeners had a great discussion about exactly what plants need to thrive: ☀️ Sunlight 💧 Water 🧪 Healthy Soil ❤️ And a little bit of love! We can't wait to watch our hard work grow.

What a day! 🦁🐒 We had the absolute best time yesterday on our zoo adventure, and we did it in style! Check out our two-step recipe for the perfect field trip: • Step 1: Get creative! The kiddos had a blast making their own custom tie-dye shirts. 🎨✨ • Step 2: Rock those colors at the zoo! It made spotting our group in the crowd a breeze (and we looked pretty sharp, if we do say so ourselves). 🌈 We want to send a huge THANK YOU to Marathon for the incredibly generous ticket donation. You made these smiles possible and gave our kids a day they’ll never forget! 🦒❤️ #ZooDay #TieDyeAdventure

It’s Community Day at Cory-Rawson, and our students are out in full force showing some serious school spirit! From the classroom to the courtyard, our kiddos have been hard at work making the campus shine. Check out what they’ve been up to today: • 🎨 Art in Action: The school rock got a fresh, vibrant new look! • 🌿 Garden Glow-up: Weeds have been pulled and flower beds are looking better than ever. • 🧹 Campus Clean-up: Students are scouring the grounds to make sure everything is neat and tidy. • ✨ And so much more! We are so proud of our students for taking ownership of their school and learning the value of giving back. A huge thank you to the staff and volunteers helping lead the way!

East Sandusky Street School is proud to award student of the Quarter in middle school to Braxton! Braxton is one of the biggest helpers in our classroom. Whether he is being a teaching assistant during morning meetings, completing chores to help keep our classroom and school clean, or running helpful errands, he is always ready to step up. Braxton also brings so much joy to his classroom. He happily joins in all of our classroom shenanigans, and he is never afraid to sing, dance, and have fun with his classmates. Most importantly, Braxton has grown so much this school year. It has been truly amazing to watch the progress he has made. His hard work, positive attitude, and willingness to help others make our classroom a better place every day. Braxton, we are so proud of you.

Check out these highlights from our end-of-the-year bowling trips! 🎳 Our students took their Adaptive PE skills to the local lanes this week, and the energy was off the charts. Whether they were using ramps, bumpers, or going pro-style, everyone got in on the action. It’s been an incredible year of growth, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate our students' hard work than with a little friendly competition and a lot of high-fives. 🖐️

State tests are in full swing, but Mrs. Peace’s students aren't letting the pressure get to them! They spent time crafting an encouraging poster to cheer each other on. 🎨📝 It’s a wonderful reminder that while testing is important, community and kindness come first. 🧡 Good luck to all our students—take a deep breath, do your best, and remember: you’ve got this! 🌟

The Miss Altman and Ms. Beth's class concluded their space science unit by visiting the Armstrong Air & Space Museum. It was an insightful look into the history of the space program and a perfect way to bring their studies to life. Following the museum, the group enjoyed lunch at Taco Bell, where students practiced the practical skills of ordering their own meals and managing their transactions. It was a successful day of both academic and real-world learning! 🌌🌮 #ScienceUnit #SpaceProgram #ArmstrongMuseum #LifeSkills #ExperientialLearning

The stars aligned for our students today! 🌟🚀 A huge thank you to Hancock County Park District for bringing their incredible mobile planetarium right into our classrooms at Riverdale. Our students got to travel through the cosmos without ever leaving the building! There is nothing quite like seeing that "aha!" moment when a student sees the constellations up close. Thanks for making science come alive! 🔭🪐
