Today in Mrs. Tyson’s class, we explored whether pumpkins would float or sink depending on their size! 🌊🎃 After reading about a Fall Festival in Scholastic News where people make boats out of pumpkins, we carved our own using cookie cutters and scooped out all the seeds. The class voted on two flavors for our roasted pumpkin seeds, and the winners were cinnamon sugar and BBQ—yum! #PumpkinScience #FallFun #ClassroomExplorations

Yesterday, our high school students at Cory-Rawson had the opportunity to participate in the Save A Life Tour Program! This impactful event taught our teens about the serious dangers of distracted driving and driving under the influence. Through powerful simulations, students experienced firsthand the risks associated with texting and driving, as well as the effects of driving under the influence. We are grateful for this important learning opportunity and hope it encourages our students to make safer choices on the road. 🚗💡 #SaveALife #DriveSafe
