🎶 Today, Ms. Sheridan’s class had a special visit from Heartstring Melodies Music Therapy! The students worked on their listening skills through engaging musical activities. 🦃 They especially loved the instrument that made turkey sounds! They also spent time reflecting on affirmations about themselves—such an uplifting experience! ☕ Travelin’ Toms: Our students had the opportunity to serve parents and grandparents through Travelin’ Toms, a special time for connection and community. 🎓 Self-Advocacy and Life After High School: Mr. Todd from Wyandot County joined us to discuss self-advocacy and resources available after high school. Students learned about colleges that offer support for students with disabilities. 🌟 Inspiring Guest Speaker: Justin, a former student now in Project Life, returned to share his experiences and inspire his peers with insights about the program.
